(its a cobalt) and i push it back in tight and it goes off
and its fast but when its hung its slow and sluggish
but when its back in it only stays in for about 10 seconds around, got any idears?

Dirty or bent brush hood. Maybe a weak spring.

You are going to have to periodically take the motor apart and give it a good cleaning. The dirt from the track will mix with the bearing oil and gum up the brushes causing the sticking. Get some motor spray and throughly clean the motor and bearings. Then reoil the motor bearings with a
good bearing oil like the royal oil from trinity. This is mandiatory if you want a consistant running motor.
