ok found this on another thread this is the parts list to convert the MF1 to the VLA arms and supporting parts

"All you need is the arms, hubs and caster blocks. It will all bolt right on.

They make EA3 arms as well but I prefer the graphite unless you are running in very cold conditions."

Also the part#'s for the EA3 arms are

LOSA1117 Frt. Arms
LOSA2139 Rear Arms

I still run an MF2 (with longer CR chassis) there's still nothing out there that runs any better. A very worthwhile upgrade to an MF1 changing to the CR diff outdrives, screw and spring. It gets rid of the bevel washers and makes the diff 5x smoother and longer lasting. I made this change on my SCT (converted from an MF1) and it was a night and day difference on the track.

Default Just bought an mf1

Nice looking older unit, it has the Reedy 3300kv/SC450 brushless setup installed. Are parts that difficult to find for these older Buggies?

Default Box stock setup sheet needed

Wow, how cool is this? An actual thread for MF1. Can't find info anywhere on the web for what I need. I have an MF1 that was always my favorite truck. I have several trucks now, MF2 (which I have loaned to my husband with the instruction that I do the wrenching on it - long story, but he is death on setups). I also have a couple of CRs. I have one CR that had an awesome setup that was a very generous gift to me. I tried to copy that setup onto my MF1 and it sucked. Prior to that I had a great oval setup on the MF1, but there are no oval classes for anything around here now except for SCT and Sprint cars, so after holding out for a couple of years, I decided to change my MF1 to an offroad setup. Unfortunately, it is so screwed up now that it is not driveable. I did add weight too. Now I am looking for the box stock setup sheet because I need to go back to square 1 and start over. I know I probably won't particulary like the box setup, but I want to start from the beginning. I have a setup sheet from the original XXXT (before the MF1 as I still have that manual), but I bought the MF1 used so I had no manual. I have the manual for the MF2, but there are some subtle differences. Shock oil, pistons are the same, but shock location on the front arm, at least are different (XXXT says outside hole, MF2 says middle). Can anyone supply me with a BOX STOCK setup sheet for the MF1? Probably impossible, but I had to try. Thanks for any help you can give me.
