Default Kyosho Mini Inferno .09

I was really shocked with the output from this small lil engine......this car rocks although the car doesnt look as strong as the big bro.. probably coz they wanted to make it lighter.

But how ever this car is something......I thought since there is no particular thread for this sweet buggy. I would start one.

Here are some pictures for you guys to see what u get in the box....do let me know what u think....

Cheers
Have fun............

From the looks of it....Sweet. Engine power band is good and it clears a foot tall jumps with ease...need to really get it going at a track then i could give you some real reveiws.

But this product is backed by a "KYOSHO" - Brand name & they usually dont go wrong

break-in was done with 5 tanks, and not 10 tanks.....as per the book.

Good thing about this RTR is that everything is in the box, u really need fuel and batteries to get it rolling......I am very much impressed. I feel its a competition buggy right from the box.. although ppl might want to hop it up a bit......just in case. !

Attached some comparision pictures.

Cheers

The US release date is Nov. 1st......

The ARR version will be shortly also.....

FYI: several of the electric parts will fit on the nitro version as well......

Lets hope a lot of people buy this car.....its worth it. Specially the RTR version as you can see from the picture you could just change the RX without a problem.

So i feel that the ARR is not a worth buy for the price champRC qouted its only a 100$ diff... but you loose out on a starter box and radio which can be used for other applications.....

Cheers

I all so am interested about maybe adding one to my collection but all so waiting on more user reviews, as those are the only ones I take a stock in. I have the electric mini inferno but I more of a nitro person. One question are the front steering knuckles plastic or alloy? I have had nothing but problems with the stock ones on my electric mini inferno.

sweet looking buggy. but dont agree with your kyosho comment. Kyosho are renown for making cheap quality cars. the worse being the 7.5 RTR sports

i hope the gears are better than they were with the Half Eight

Plastic with a 22deg option in the box...for added steering.

Blue R1.. Too bad you dont agree.....but i didnt expect everyone to agree.

Mind you - the Kanai Edition3 was one of the best in their time i think 7 world titles. The RTR are usually for kids to bash around it cant be used for serious competition.
So have fun with what u have..

Cheers

If I am not mistake the gears in the Diffs on the O9 are metal and not plastic like on the electric mini inferno. I am guessing the steering and front end is about the same as the electric as it comes with the 20, 22 degree. I have not had a problem with the diff gears on my electric the only real problem I have had is with the knuckles and the screws pulling out. Hopefully the 3 Racing knuckles they make for the electric will fit the O9. I sure do think it will be a lot better then some of the other 1/16 out there!

Hi all, new around these here parts. I realize I'm probably digging up an older thread, and this MAY have been answered elsewhere, but I've got a quick question regarding the Mini Inferno 09... My other glow powered vehical is an older Traxxas Nitro Rustler, (with their Pro15). I run it on Traxxas Top-Fuel 20% nitro content. Do yall think I could use the same in the little Inferno? I know some engines can be rather picky when it comes to fuel, and I want the little thing to be as rock-solid as it can be. Thanks, and I appreciate any responses/info!!
