I bought a B4 &T4 kit just 2 weeks ago (Factory Team) just to replace my old cars first of all only one set of stickers the AE ones no B4 or T4 and the shock internal parts I had to trim forever and the shock O rings were dried out had to buy new ones. I have driven AE cars for 15 years but never had this happen. Also 2 holes in the chassis were drilled out too big for the screws. Called Assoc. and they sent me stickers 3 shock parts and 2 new chassis. Thats great and I thanked them but I couldn't run for 2 weeks that's my complaint.

I got to look a bit more into this ...

Yes , the color of plastic is a bit lighter with the Chinese baged parts..
The fit and finnish is the same , which means very good...

The stiffness or flex is the same ....

hate to tell this , cept for slight differents in shade of the plastic,

both parts perform the same, no differents ......

Looking at that picture, I'm struck that it really is in the eye of the beholder. I think that this is because of too many variables in the composition. Firstly you have differences in perspective, both from the camera to subject(s) view and from the subject to subject view. Then you have differences in light gradation within the frame. Lastly there is no notation as to which piece is which.
Having said all that, I notice an apparent lesser degree of uniformity of the 'glass' materials in the forward piece. There may also be some evidence of mold degradation from the rear to the fore piece. Perhaps the molds were shipped to a new manufacturer instead of the preferable (and vastly more expensive) option of commisioning a new mold.
I doubt any noticeable loss of performance would be demonstrated. And keep in mind the fact that it was not too long ago that each kit would have essentially become a one-off piece by the time it hit the track. The days of hand fitting and modifying EACH piece is mostly over, much to my disappointment.

Paul , I think you will not be disappointed, I have even broken a ft A-arm from the China bag and it broke in the same place as the USA bag stuff...
And its not like the arm broke right away .
It survived learning brand new layouts on two different tracks...

No differences....
