I can understand that opening up the hinge pin hole will "loosen" up the car, but at the same time dirt and dust will work it's way in there. If over time it starts to get worse, I'll go back to the old car.

Maybe some o-rings on either side of the arm will take up some slop and when compressed, keep dirt out.


Like I said in one post, I'm a PITA when it comes to certain things. And a sloppy fit is one of them.

Xrayeddy, all of the locals who own the 8 car have told me it keeps getting better as it wears. They are assuming it is too tight out of the box to handle it's best.

I'd assume this also applies to the XB8TQ and others.
