Default XXX-NT Rx battery?

I'm sorry if this has been covered, but I couldn't find anything on it.

First I'd like to say that the receiver battery box on the XXX-NT seems needlessly difficult to open. So, is there a quick-release box out there? That would really be the best solution.

Second, if not, which battery packs fit in there, size- and voltage-wise? I found this one, but it's out of stock: http://www.losipartshouse.com/servle...tz-1400/Detail There's got to be another place to find this, or something that works.

Thanks!

if you will use cap head screws instead of the button head screws, it will make access to the battery waaaaaay easier. as far as i know, there is no quick release type of battery holder for the xxxnt.

yes, that is the type of battery that you want to use in the xxxnt stock battery compartment. trinity, as well as alot of others have batteries in that configuration.

if you want a different type of system for holding your battery, native racing has something different. you will have to use a different configured battery though.

Perfect! Thanks for the quick and informative reply!
