Ive broke ALOT of parts on my XXX4. Chassis, arms(f&r),shock tower(f) both diff cover 3 or 4 times. Pivots supports out the bunghole, till i got the alum ones.

But i do have to say thats not bad if seen how bad my driving was..I like the pipes a little to much.

Default xxx-4 G+

I have recently acquired a xxx-4 G+. I put the Novak GTB 5.5 system in it. Holy crap, talk about fast. I have always ran 2wd, but this is crazy. Pull the trigger and fly. This car was definately made for running modified.

Yeah it was, however, at the Off-Road Nationals they did run a 4wd stock class. I love driving mine though, it's like driving a touring car off road, it's awesume.

I haven't heard of anyone running a spool, but i do know that alot of guys here at my track run one ways in thiers cause it's such a high bite, tight track. Makes the car a little harder to drive, but it pulls out of the corners alot stronger.

I was going to run mine with a front diff, because one-ways scared me in touring cars. Should I run a one-way? This is my first time running 4wd dirt and mod.

speaking from experience and being a newb to 4wd mod, i'd say run a diff right now until you get more comfortable with driving it fast, then try a one-way.

i have run a one-way in my old xxx4. i kept destroying the bearings. the standard losi unit is not up to the task of off-road IMHO.

Whats the difference between the One-way and a spool.
Spooling the rear end in a real car meant a locked diff, same thing here?

Yup, that's exactly what a spool is, it locks up the front end.

on road a spool is the bomb, especially on a tight, technical track that requires lots of braking.
