T-Maxx Engines

i brought a t-maxx about 3 mouths ago and went though 2 traxxas .15pro engines and now i lookin to buy a new engine for my t-maxx and would like to know what would be a good engine to put in my t-maxx i dount want to go out a buy a cheap one and it breakes in a mounth or go out and buy a 200 engine and it not fit I would like to spend less then 130 on a engine

Hi I'm Leonard and I know three engines that are reliable they cost from $180 to $340 one is fantom side exharst , Novarossi 3 port or 5 port is very reliable and the last is no brand engine from taiwan. Please give me a call or sms at 96821480.

Just buy a 2.5 for it and go, they are good strong motors and everything bolts up. If you want even more then look at the sirio 3.0 for it but it'll cost you more green!

Anyone see what's wrong with this picture?

You must be running your engines WAY, way too lean if they are only lasting a few months. A "BETTER" engine is not going to last any longer if it is not being tuned properly.

I highly agree, these things shouldnt be only lasting a couple months, unless you are running the hell out of them every day, as in 1 gallon a week. I would deffinetly invest in a temp reading device of some sort and recheck your settings.

but if you do want to buy a new engine, i say go for an os15. there very reliable and fast. even faster with a turboring pipe.
