Kyosho is always a good choice...
1) The durabilty is second to none.
2) You can upgrade as you can afford it.
3) Parts are usally available at most hobby shops
4) It is newer than the MT2 and is a strong racing class in my area. (there is no nitro 4wd stadium 10th scale class here)

Plus setups are already a plenty on line.
IF you plan on racing ever, buy the Kyosho.

If not the Mt2 is strong basher, tires will wear out faster than the Kyosho though as Truggy tires seem to last forever if you stay off the asphalt.

Thats about all I can suggest.

Thanks for that.....however i have heard that there is many problems associated with Kyosho's larger engines overheating/stalling/losing compression all within a few gallons/litres...is this true? cause from what i have had my old inferno had a .21 all stock and after a few litres my car would drive for 2-5minutes then stall..and the engine head would be very hot.

thanks

The GX21 that Kyosho loves to put in their RTRs are problematic, some have problems with them overheating, and some don't. I had a MT2 but I didn't like it very much. Quite a bit of slop in the steering and parts are increasingly difficult to come by.
