Default Just got Mamba Max, wow

Well I just got my Mamba Max in my XXX-T and at first the slipper was too loose and it just went slow and ballooned over any bumps, then I tightened the spur gear, hit about a 1/3 of a lap wheeling around my track and the spur gear stripped up. The pinion isn't too good either. Im wondering what a good ratio for the 5700kv mamba with a 6 cell 3300 (as of now). Can't wait to go LiPo, wow too much power. My track is pretty small and tight so I want more torque than top speed, but still a high top speed and not too much torque. I realize I can adjust all of this using the USB and programming but I need to start with something good.
