Default Question about brushless power in a ST?

I just got a 5800/SS combo and it is great. I threw it into and old Rusty roller I had and it flew. My question is this. I have a XXX4 that I was supposed to be putting it in but not sure I want to do that. That is really a racing vehicle and I am a basher so I was thinking about putting the motor/esc in a stadium truck (T4, XXXT). In the Rustler it barely has traction. Wheelies in the grass and fishtails on concrete. All be it is fun, how do I actually get decent traction and steering out a this motor?

The 5800 runs about like a good 14X2 imo so it's just an average mod motor... it can work fine in any type vehicle like these.

Maybe you need to look at the slipper, radio settings etc to calm it down if it's too much to handle right now.

btw, I have raced a xx4 with a 5800 before and it ran pretty good but the 4wd does make the system run hot...

I would loosen up the slipper a little more. That's what I had to do with the SS4300 in my evader so it wouldn't fish tail so bad.
