its kind of dumb that its pre-built thgouh, at least its not a full RTR thgouh, but I'd still rather pay less and build it myself,

I wonder what is so difficult to put together to do that? Should be the same deal as the 8IGHT.

If so, they're gunna have an RTR version for the newbs anyway... just leave this one a kit. Maybe (if we're lucky) it's just a mistake, HOPEFULLY.

It'll take twice as long to dissassemble it out of the box, just to put it back together again.

AARON???? Did Losi finally give you a job in house??? Building 8IGHT T's? I thought you were going to school to be something one day!!!

with the new logo doesn't look like a mistake.
Looks like their going to all be prebuilt to me. Not than I can afford one anyway but if I could I'd want to build it meself.

Super Dave NT - I haven't heard any official plans but it would make sense to do at some point.

Steve Walters - Yes it is!

This is not any official word from Losi/Horizon, but I wouldn't be surprised to see more pro-level kits sold pre-built. The popularity of Ready-To-Runs would indicate a shift towards consumers who would rather play than build, and it's my own personal guess that only the most die-hard of hobbyists will be bummed out by the decision to release the truck pre-built. I've said all along that a large percentage of these trucks (and any R/C car for that matter) won't end up in the hands of a racer...so why not cater to your bigger market?

I don't think my dad will be offended that he doesn't get/have to build it, haha.

I know they're working on tires, for both this truck (the X-Pattern ones first) and new buggy tires as well. So just sit tight

That's not street price. I'd guess the street price for the kit as soon as it's released will probably be around $650-$700.
