Adam Drake is sitting in the TQ spot at the Roar Truck Nats in Vegas with this proto-type 8ight trugggy and Travis Amezcua is sitting 3rd. Truck is doing very well.

Adam also took TQ in Mnoster Truck with the LST2 and is sitting 2nd in Gas Truck. He almost pulled off the hat-trick ....LOL.

Interesting hat they went with 1/2 off set wheels. It looked like everyone was moving away from those. Even OFNA is making adapters to use standard wheels.

If I am not mistaken, those are Ofna 1/2 in. offset rims. The buggy just came out, so they probably don't have any of there own truggy rims yet.

The rims that they use for the Kyosho, Hpi, and Mugen truggys (no offset) usually make the truggy twitchy and harder to drive. I think that is why Kyosho went to a longer wheelbase chassis, to make the truck more stable. That is most likely why the Ofna CRT is so easy to drive. It has a longer wheelbase and 1/2 in. rims. This is just my opinion.

The new Losi XT looks sweet! Thanks for the action photos. I will defenitly have to get both a Losi truggy and buggy for next season.

They do look like Ofna wheels. I have slightly wider hubs that allow me to run zero offset wheels on my CRT. Sounds like everyone is working towards what i have right now hopefully. The only problem is i have not had a chance to run it like this, I just hope it works ok! The Losi does look good though.

Just an FYI, the 80 (Eight-ty) was hands down the fastest truggy on the track. Anyone who was at the race would tell you that.

The MBX5T uses wheel adapters and non-offset rims while the CRT uses a standard buggy hex and offset rims. The kyosho has non-offset rims and just the buggy hex, but the Kyosho team has found that wider is better, so they too now have wheel extenders. There is no difference other than more wheel selections with the non-offset and easier to get the nuts on and off. You can bet the X2CRT will have wheel extenders and non-offset rims. It is becoming the standard and a Mfg would be foolish to go with anything else. It should also have re-geared diffs and a smaller, low CG center spur. They also need to lose some weight on the truck. The Kyosho is 3/4 lb lighter and the Mugen about a pound lighter.

Being that it is still pre-production, I doubt Losi has given it one yet.

Total Understandable. To my knowledge, when most partnumbers are originated (on big items anyways), they will come with a product update from christopher sheppard at Horizon via email.
