StepJumper....If you can find an Alu. or Carbon chassis then you are in luck. We are in the process of designing our own and hopefully will be selling them but it is still in the design faze.

Checkout your local hobby shop and see what they have for parts. if they cant get you something then try some on-line places. I have found Tower Hobbies and EHobbies to be some really good places here in the states.

rcfreak...I agree that ultimate traxxas is a good place to go for information. I used what he showed and worked with that to come up with alot lighter chassis. We also made many changes to the set-up's that they give.

The traxxas is the most durable truck made today. that is why there are so many options to making it lighter and more raceable. I think that it will make a Basher the best truck to beat around with.

Here also are some pics of one of the three trucks we have.

I can't post a video but I can tell you that it goes 24+ MPH stock with a 2400mah battery. It can go on grass to loose dirt. It comes with 2 different gear ratios. You can find a good deal on a new one at www.horizonhobby.com. I made a off-road oval in my backyard in a bunch of leaves and it will still run on it.

I would recomand that if you are buying a new truck. Buy one that you have to assemble. I dont know where pople got the idea to sell RTR but to me there is nothing like knowing how EVERY part on your truck works and how it should fit together.

Default slipper clutch

stepjumper- The slipper clutch allows the spur to rotate while the wheels don't move if it is stuck or something. Btw you can get the aluminum shock caps at www.buytraxxas.com.

Been Busy here....Just got back from the Losi Race...All went well...could have been better though..had to use those blue "Smurf" Spec. tires.

Hate to say it but I dont think so....I know that Associated makes a Set that replaces the stearing rods and the solid bars so that you can adjust the camber. If you want something made in Titanium you are going to have to have it made...lol...If not racing it isnt worth it. If you do find them let me know where you got them.

Make one....Use two captured ends and a short piece of 4/40 rod and then just screw it inn place of the plastic piece. We did that just to have an adjustment there.

It will look like the rod between the servo saver and the bellcrank (just shorter)
