Servo Question
Whats the difference between coreless servos and regular servos? What makes the other better? Im comparing this Futaba with this Airtronics . Thanks

both of these servos feature coreless motors. Coreless motors provide more accuracy through the servos movement and all around better than standard 3 pole motors.
You can't go wrong with either of these servos, although the airtronics' aluminum gear train might wear quicker if you use this servo in a 1/8 scale as steering. |
Coreless servos are smoother and center better than standard servos also .

Don't worry about using the 358 for a steering servo. I've been using them to steer 8th buggy, production MT (t-maxx), and truggy for the past 5 years and have never had one fail. I've sent several back to Airtronics over the years for wire and case replacement, but never for a stripped gear or fried motor. I use the 358 for both steering and throttle/brake with no complaints at all.
