I dont think that is a bad showing so far with the M1-B .
I was also surprised by fellow Caster driver Raul Daras who had a good run with a 14th place overall in rnd 4.
But today will be the deciding factor ,looking good for Drake though.

Anyone know if there is going to be video footage of this race? Good quality footage for purchase?

The coverage is quite slow from the event because they are having some difficulties with the internet connection.
I have only seen one video of Chris Doughty from his site. You can watch it here but its quite big, but gives you an idea of the track.
Captain America, David Crompton with the new Team Magic car qualified in 13th position.

Thanks for posting the link red
My "internet connection" consisted of driving around housing estates to find an open wireless connection to upload what I did during the day - tiring!
I have loads of photos from this event going up tomorrow so check back if interested - I don't usually do 8th scale so I dont know a lot of drivers but I have some nice photos
crompton had electric problems in the Team Magic which really hurt him - he had to retire when the servo he replaced for steering was already broken and he didn't realise. Adam did dominate though - even on the first lap of the 45 minute race he was away.

wait until you get to see the 'big pics' gallery when Jimmy gets that up, lots of good shots to browse through!
it was such a good event, Drake was awesome, so consistant, you have to give him credit where it is due.
I had a blast running my first nitro race! long finals are all new to me. bump ups too! what a fantastic concept!
