The 310 is a small version of the 300. I am currntly using the JR Z-1 radio with both 300 and 310 receivers. Do you know what receiver th Z-1 comes with? The RS310.

Put it this way Suna, if you can't use your current JR receivers, I will buy you 2 for every one that you have. So that's what, 8 receivers?

Default M11

I started out with a DX3, not bad, but very plasticky. Love the spektrum.

Switched to M11, and have been very happy. The only thing is, it occasionally blacks out and I lose control. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Default BLACK OUT!

Occasionally I black out, and lose control. But not my controller.

M11 OR 3PK ??? M11 all the way for me, but that's like asking people Ford or Chevy. Try them both, and buy what you like not what other people like

from my experience, m8 is way too big for small/mid hand. Sanwa do not handle interference very well. Helios do best for elec. 3pks is the best of what i'm using right now for any scale of nitro or elec. The HRS is base on pcm, so you don't have to worry about conflict.
I thought different I think my m8 was better for small hands because I have bigger hands and my thumb was uncomfortable and felt pinched. I now run a 3pk with the large hand grip available from futaba. One big difference I noticed from the m8 to the 3pk is the trigger throw. It has about 1/4 more throw it seems. This small advantage has really helped my driving since I'm smoother on the thottle.

I do miss the easy to navigate screen on the m8.

Any of the ones in this thread are awesome radios..

I just made the switch from Airtronics (M8 and M11) to the KO Helios.. wow, best radio Ive ever used. with the dop down wheel, and tilt function... its very comfortable for those 30 min. mains.

Go fondle all the ones you are thinking of, and buy the one that feels the best for YOU.

I'm 100% happy with my JR Z-1. Styling is a bit funky, it has some zigs and zags that serve no purpose..... But so is the M8/11 with that big "billboard" on top....

The Helios/Z-1 has grip size options, and the drop down/angle adjust wheel. Very cool. Haven't got mine......yet.

To each their own. Try some out.................

I agree with everyone that talks about the feel. I just started racing this spring and am anxiously awaiting my Helios that I ordered on Monday. Since I've started racing I've had a DX3, M8, 3PK, and M11. I'm really hoping the Helios is the answer. I've fondled a couple of fellow racers Helios radios several times (please don't tell them how excited I got ) and I really feel like this is the radio I might keep for a while. The reason I have had so many radios is because I can't get a comfortable feel while driving. There's been enough features on every radio to suit what I need for racing --although I will admit that if you are a mod class racer you might want the upper end radios (things like throttle curve don't exist on a DX3 and are nice fine tuning features).

It really comes down to feel once you get into the class of M8/11, 3PK, and EX-10/Z-1. I personally should have kept the M8 instead of upgrading to the M11, but KO Propo is the beneficiary of this mistake. To me, the M8 was the best feeling radio prior to the Helios.

Sorry for the rambling, they essentially all do the same thing so just buy the one that 'feels right' and fondle as many as you can while making the decision
