Default Losi shocks

Hi all

Just built my XXXCR and no matter what I do I can't seem to get the shocks air free. I have followed the instructions by the book but they still have a little air in them.

Anyone have any tips?

Thanks

What you need to do is fill the shock to the start of the threads. Then with the piston pushed all the way down inside the shock body tighten and you should be good to go. Having the shaft/piston pushed down into the oil displaces almost any air in the shock. hope this helps. BTW losi shocks will always have a very small air pocket at the top of shock but should only be noticeable when the shock totally bottoms out.

You're never going to be able to build a set of current off-road Losi/AE shocks that do not have air in them and still have the shocks work properly. The air is required and needed to compress for shaft displacement. If you bleed the shocks how the manual states then you will be good to go and any "bad" feeling you have is gone after a few jumps/turns once the oil becomes aerated.
