Brush & Spring combo for CO27 For A T4
#2
Purple Positive...Red negative. 767's ZOOM. ZOOM!
For a little less motor maintainece use Red Positive...Green Negative. 767's.
Gearing is picky with this motor and the T4. (Anywhere from 18-20) I went back to a p2k2 in truck. Good Luck!

Fluff has a good setup. I run the Xcut serrated Trinity brushes on mine though. Same spring set up. I also don't like this motor for truck. It doesn't have the nut on the bottom end that a good P2K2 or P2k does. Even Orion cores have more bottom end which you need for truck.

I run Purples all around and 4499nts but i cut my motors every 1-3 runs. Nutfluff knows what im talking about!

Just run them out of the package. Stock offroad doesn't need all the voo doo stock onroad needs. The minute you flip over you have just cancelled out ALL the motor/battery/hop-up advantages you've spent on your car. If you are losing races because you NEVER flip over and the guy who is beating you is hitting the triple while you double/single...then start worrying about the extra power cut brushes may give you.

I usually go with the 2 red springs and a set of 767s. Just make sure the armature is balanced in the magnetic field in the can.

Fluff is right. Thats what my dad says about my setup, batteries, and motor etc.. When you can go the 5 minutes with NO crashes, then start thinking about your setup.

Not a big fan of my motors in my t4 :/. I run the CO27 with Red/Green springs with the 767 Banzai brushes. Usually, it depends more on the arm/can than the brushes/springs. Plus gearing is really persnickity... most people say 19/20 in a t4, but it gets hot just with a 19 on it.
B4 on the other hand, all my motors stay cool, and I can out motor most people with the same motors that I couldn't with the truck.
