well first of all the xxxmf is a truck and not a buggy.
the main differences between the xxxcr and the xxxbk2 are the rear ends
the bk2 uses the grey genII tranny and the xxxcr uses the black case gen I tranny.
The internal ratios are different. im not sure wat they are off hand.
the xxxcr uses the new stearing rack and ea3 composit plastic parts and the bk2 uses the old stearing setup and graphite parts.
those are the major differences.
I race a bk2 and im sure that someone who hace raced both can further explane the goods and bads of both

Yeh. The xxxmf 1 or 2 is a truck. The bk1 buggy is more similar to the new xxxcr than a bk2. they both use a single pivot block in the rear. Both use the black case tranny which is more durable than then the gen2 grey case tranny.
The bk2 car is still all graphite like the bk1. The rear of the car saw the most changes in the tranny (gen2 grey case). They switched to a narrower 2 mount pivot in the rear. The biggest change to suspension geometry was the addition of the variable length arm feature allowing to change the hub pivot point at the wheel. This was carried over to the new xxxcr
The bk2 is still a good car on most tracks. But the xxxcr does that and then some better. The overall handling on any given track is better with the cr suspension geometry. In short the car overall has more steering than a bk2 and allows the car to round a corner rather than the point and shoot method with the bk2. The most significant changes of the bk2 to the cr are the steering rack and the cr rear suspension geometry.
