A mains.....The Crystal cup....2nd & 3rd , medels... top non sponsored driver will win, $100.00 credit at speed shop torrance. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, B mains Medels. people in compton have better things to do than take yo rc stuff... as if someone realy needed yo gear. all we do is provide a place to run your rc car in the parking lot of a casino hotel to have some fun. no need to put a whole lot on it... if your scared to come to compton, we can understand,,, there are alot of scary people in the world.... we have been here for 8 years.... and no one has had any drama you think at a casino with all the security and camaras mounted all over the hotel and parking lot... if a person was going to try and take something,, i think they would go after sometghing that means something.... not remote control stuff.... how many tracks can say....they have not had anything taken,,,,,,,,? only compton...... any track anywhere is a good thing for the rc sport... so don't hate....just don't come... it's all good.... Crystal park rc is just a rc club trying to help people come together for the love of the remote control sport..... :nod: |
phoenix has nerve to talk about driving at night in compton when you got 2 not 1 but 2 maby 3 people shooting people at random day or night...
they think they cought 1.... the point is every city or town has it's drama,, country for that matter. all we are is remote control car lovers.... looking for a place to run.... no need to hate someone's place to play, and you don't know what they are all about.... i still go to phoenix all the time,,,,, i do rich folks weddings out there all the time.... they know i live in compton.... and they come visit the track and bring there kidds..... dont be a media slave...... see for your self,,,,,,,, and with that i'm out :lol: :nod: |

Good thing for you those "rich folk" you invited to come down don't have to stray too far off the 91. C'mon now, you know you're not gonna see them "flossin' on Slauson" after races are done. hehehehe :D
Funny though that you say to not to just go off whatever the media tells you when your whole point about Phoenix serial killers is likely based off of what you caught on the evening news there in L.A. But hey, if i had Lauren "Sweet Tig 'ol Bitties" Sanchez on channel 13 telling me the news every night, i'd be paying attention too. ;) (And just to clarify, they caught who they think are the serial shooters and are looking for the other cat who's been jackin' people...although he hasn't struck in awhile.) But yeah, I got some nerve saying what i did because what you didn't know is that I'm from L.A., born and raised (and no, i'm not from some "rich folk" area, either). But like you said, everywhere has drama, so no need to blow things up further. I see you're cool with letting whatevers go, and so am I. No biggie. I agree that anything to help further R/C is a good thing, so i'm cool with just leaving it at that. :nod: |
I am not afraid of "scary people", but I am not stupid either. Compton is bad enough in the day time. Night time in the summer is just not safe in Compton. I am sure that the security is adequate at the casino, it is the drive from the casino to the freeway after the races that is the area of concern. Would it keep me from racing? Not at all. I was simply making a point about the extremely high crime rate in Compton. Maybe the Police can give racers an escort to the freeway. It would not be a big deal, because there are always alot of police cars in Compton day or night. :batman: :batman: :batman:
What a drain on our tax dollars by having to pay for an unusually high number of police officers and equipment in an attempt to keep a bunch of animals under control. It worked so well with the riots didn't it? The animals were burning down their own neighborhood. :flaming: :flaming: :flaming: |

I am simply pointing out to those that may not be aware of the fact that it can be quite dangerous in Compton. :nod: :nod: :nod:

I didn't know that Crystal park had a big off-road track, the last time I went, it was kinda of small but if you guys have it ready for my 1/8 scale, I'm all about it.
As far as being scared to go to compton in the night, nobody has anything to worry about, not a damm thing! I use to street race all over compton every weekend! Thanks for giving us RC'ers a place to run our cars so we can enjoy our hobby. -Big Kid |

Hey Reeso....
so according to your post there is an offroad race on the 10th(Sunday). Is this correct? I was gonna come out and practice on the onroad track....but if the offroad track is having a race that pretty much kills that idea. Reeso...please confirm. Thanks |
