the buggy would accelerate faster because it lighter and has smaller tires.the truggy would have a higher top speed because of the larger wheel an tires

I had a Jammin CRT it was an awesome truggy. I found some what boring to drive. I ended up with a Mugen Prospec and am thrilled with it! It may have to do there is always a class to race 1/8 buggies.

Well if you already have the Jammin's why bother.
They both are fast and fun to drive.

The AE buggy, and truggy won't even bee seen till next season, then maybe not even till the next will they release it to the public.

They fully test, retest and R&D their stuff before it heads to market.
Look at the Belted TC they have been working on for a year or more, they were just starting to race test it at Reedy Race of Champions.

Now granted it will probably be a very nice buggy.
But to sell your gear now to pay for it, you will be waiting along time.

Best to race what you already have, the Jammin line has won big races with both their Buggy and Truggy.
They aren't out dated and they still win.

Now which is faster the buggy, it weights almost 2lbs less.
But I still think Truggy is the funnest class.
