They said when the Buggy came out it would be a few months so my guess is right around Christmas.

Lol, Losi is like a PC company, it's practically obsolete as it rolls out of the factory! But really, there's no sense in waiting for the next big thing in Losi, you'll wait 10 years, and watch tons of variations come out every few months... Don't wait for the latest and greatest, just get one and start driving!

About six months from when the buggy was released is when they will probably release the truck. Not sure on that but that's how it has been in the years past.

I would go ahead an get the MF2. If a new truck does come out you will be able to upgrade to it by buying and installing the different parts. More than likely it will be the truck version xxx-cr.

even if it is the xxx-tcr, ive heard many bad things about the new material, i think you should just get an mf2, and drive it like it is, or later get the xxx-cr ackerman steering and maybe even a mf1 diff and put it in.

some say its too flexy ....pretty sure losi was aiming towards something more durable but would have the same or better characteristics as graphite

its not too flexy... flexy is a good thing. The only problem is that it breaks only slightly more often than graphite, but people have been enjoying the nearly bullet proof graphite material. As for handling, it works great

Default Parts are starting to show!

I broke a rear shock tower yesterdat at SoCal. When I bought a new one I noticed 8 camber link positions. I ask, what's with this. The reply. It's for the new XXX-tcr. Good news is that the truck is probably released soon.

Bad news. Not one of the holes lines up with the old, so time for a new setup sheet.

Same as the old part number - LOSA-9822. Graphite, just has 8 holes like the XXX-CR Rear tower.

And, just an observation as this question has been asked a million times but - if you look on horizonhobby.com, you can see that the JRXS Type R has a Mid-January release schedule, and the 8ight-T has a March timeframe. Consider the fact that there hasn't even been a formal announcement for a CR-Truck yet, and I would venture to guess that it wouldn't be released until both of those are on hobby shop shelves. The MF2 is still a very viable option right now, there's a lot of guys running them at my local track.
