Molded Foams Over rated.....
I have seen way to many of these break at local races, I know of at least 4 that have broke in 2 weekends of running. This is horrible. Anyone else see this problem?

Yes, as long as your careful not to stretch the foam when you put it on then you should have no probmlems with it breaking.

I broke one of my rear molded foams in my crime fighters. proline just sent me some new ones. From what I have heard they are not as good as the regular foam on really blown out tracks.

i don't use the proline greys anymore they fall apart way too easy. Ofna's inserts hold up really well.

Pro-Line has updated the molded foams. They are now stronger and more consistant.

whats the best way of putting them on?
put foam on rim fist, then put tire on over the foam; or
put foam inside the tire first, then put them both on the rim together.

From what I have seen and experienced, do not put holes in the rims. If there are already holes in the rims, cover them with tape, and put the hole in the tire. The hole in the rim allows dirt to get under the foam and this chews them up. My first experience had 4 foams get destroyed in a single run, but the second time I changed from holes int the rims to holes in the tires and had zero failures. Also as stated above by Mark P, the foams have been updated and are way better(slightly stretchy and way more consistant in firmness).

Here's some example of how it sucks !.
Hopefully their 'new' formula works better, not like their pre-glued tire with the Q.C. checked sticker assurance & yet still gives way.
