A friend of mine has the Losi 8ight and it's a beutiful car no doubt, but for the GT to beat the Losi trucks how many times in 1/10 nitro, hard to say that AE copy design to win.

I want to make one or the other, can't decide right now. I have attended the electric race before, but here of late I have run some nitro and have given that one a thought too. Maybe it will depend on which weekend looks less like SNOW, but I'm sure it will be both, lol.

The RC8 designer told me that although AE and TT are now part of the same company, he hates TT designed crap so the RC8 will use ZERO EB4-S3 parts. He goes on to mention that he gives props to Losi for trying different stuff but being different doesn't mean it's superior. The RC8 will be nothing like the 8eight.

check out www.neo-buggy.net according to them it is going to feature more ttr parts than previously expected inlcuding all of the drive train and diff case housings which means diffs as well.

Yes, they do just about everything right. It is just my opinion that they learn alot from the losi cars and use alot of the information off thier designs....look at the gt2 and you will see what I'm saying......

Also the loss of Kinwald, Francis and Montgomery is definately not helping Losi in the Nats.

I like AE and Losi and this is just my opinion....no big deal.

If you go back to neobuggy you'll see that the AE car is roughly 90% new parts. There won't be a conversion.

Sorry that someone posted bad information.

hey kdub i read it on neo-buggy.net that the drivetrain including the diffs was ttr as well as brake linkage and such, i then when back and the news was re worded to say roughly 90% new 10% ttr, so i posted that before neobuggy corrected there news.
