We actually smoke-tested the car today. Wow. MUCH better than we expected. Most first runs on cars tend to be just ok....sometimes the first run on a production car doesn't match up to the prototype....but today we probably run 10 packs through it!!! It's a SUPER-stable car...

Can't wait to get my own now!

Smoke tested is just a term used to state that we put the car through the paces. Shake down runs....

TPhalen- Thanks for the information. Do you know if If the Threaded shocks will be available right around whent he car is released. And aslo what about Graphite Parts? How does the car stand on the weight issue? Is it right at weight with regular equipment in it or is it on the heavy side?

Not sure of the availability of the carbon and the threaded shocks....but i'm guessing if not AT the time of release of the car, soon after.

Actually, we weighed the car friday but...heh heh, we didn't get a chance to weigh the B3 (or any other similar car). So, until we do that (probably monday), I'm not sure. But, I think it's a bit on the slim side....

Thanx for all the great info Tony! Based on first impressions, do you think this car will be wooping Losi's right out of the box, or is it going to take some setup and hop ups to get it there?

I would love to say that it will kick the crap out of any of the competitions cars, but that would be a bit TOO cocky.... Losi just has some great drivers and saying that would just not be right.

The car is good. Real good. Great steering, great traction, just awesome, and is very, VERY stable! I'm running the prototype right now [B3X] and the B4 is MUCH better. I'm already sick of my X-car...

Hop-ups will be available but, as usual, not needed. The kit setup will get you in the ballpark, but changes will be needed depending on your driving style.

Please let AE know that we(the buying public) would like threaded shocks. They dont have to be included with the car, that would be awesome, but at least as a hopup.Thank you.
