Default 1/8th scale buggy and truggy explosion

hi all:i have a few things to say or ask about the explosion of 1/8th buggies and truggies.first are 1/8th buggies still the more popular of the two?second is the truggy class growing at a faster rate than the buggies right now?finally it's great to see so many different brands of 1/8th buggy and truggy kits coming out, because more brands of the same product usualy meens better competition and products.this does bring some confusion in terms of sifting through all the options to find the right vehicle for you as well as some good 1/8th vehicles may get lost in the shuffle, because while they may be worth getting local hobby shops can't possibly carry all brands and or parts for them.like any other business they like to stock what is selling well.this isn't a knock on hobby shops because while they're goal is to help out the consumer and grow the hobby they're still trying to make a profit along the way to be able to stay in business.just my thoughts, hope everyone understands what i'm trying to say.feel free to comment
