Team Losi Muggy
#16
The lst2 is a monster truck. The muggy is a truggy based on the design of the lst2. I would guess that if they dont get the results they want from this truggy that they might try to make a truggy based on the 8ight but I would think that losi would of done that first if they were going to do it at all.

The Muggy looks really cool for the sport market, LST2 based suspension, plastic shocks as on the less expensive verison of the LST2, Mayhem platform chassis.
The 1/8th truck will be a no holds barred full on racing machine.
This one can be raced, but maybe not for those as serious, maybe a basher who club races once in a while, where the LST2 falls short.

If you just look at the suspension geometry you will realize this is not a racing truck. There is almost no camber gain in it, which means it wont have a lot of cornering tracion, not to mention the CG isn't really that low. Like WED Jim said it will be decent for club racing, but I doubt anybody but Drake could race it at the Nats.

Not to worry about looks, from what I saw this is the real thing it is already competitve with all other trugies out on the market. If you jumped and land on another trugie this Muggy would CRUSH it, with its awsome beefy suspension.

No trugie or monster truck is all that great at corner speed, the huge tires are nothing but unsprung weighted gyros that these trucks are using to race with. yes it can be a great basher but its primary goal is racing ,it will be as well rounded for every one to do what they please, just like all others.

This is not a prototype. They have been testing this at tracks for a while including Revelation and the Silver State race. It will have plastic towers and everything that you see in the pictures.
