What makes it shut off?

gatermaxx 07-25-2006 01:48 AM

could be any number of things, bad glow plug, chokes out, runs out of fuel, loss of exhaust pressure, loss of glow plug, carb jolts closed, pinched fuel line, hole in fuel line, sometimes having the bottom too rich. I am sure there are more, but this is the jist

Don't forget sun spots, a sudden change in the wind direction, the tides, gnomes and seismic activity in the Pacific Rim as other causes for flame-outs! :ha:

Also global warming, giraffes, Jimmy Carter, the NFL, Winston Churchill, tall grass, and Condoleeza Rice. They all have definite effects on your engine.

OOOH! I forgot windchimes. My bad.

Condoleeza!!!!!!!!! What are we going to do now?

gulio 07-25-2006 10:17 AM

I figured a flame-out was far more specific than a stall or "shut -off" :deathstar
