Default Is spektrum rx reliable for offroad buggy

I am getting back to offroad 1/8 buggy. I use Spektrum RX on my 1/8 on road with no problem. Will the spektrum rx work well on the 1/8 buggy? there is a lot of pounding on the buggy, Will the rx rebinds itself or glitch from rough landings?

I am also considering sticking with the crystal rx, but Spektrum is just too convinient, no worry about some dumb Axx turning on their radios while u are driving.

Thanks in advance.

I am sure that it would, My racing partner runs spektrum in his 1/8 stadium truck, monster truck, and 4mod buggy, and I run it in my monster truck, 4mod and stock truck with no probelms, all off-road. The race this last weekend had 8 feet of concrete ribbing that beat the crap out of your truck, several monster potholes that looked like missile impacts where water got onto the treated track and it blew out, and a monster triple and a ski jump, where I did a back flip, and failed on 3 due to hitting the jump wrong, let alone the time when I chipped some of the concrete wall when I lost my truck in a dust cloud for a second, got to love TI skids and aluminum bulks.

DSM is working great! It's about the only thing on my 1/8 scale car that has not given me trouble.
I sit mine vertical on top of stiff foam rubber, with Ultra velcro holding it to the side of the case.
Then suround it with soft foam rubber to keep the dust away. Easy to remove for cleaning, never any issuse's
