A big thanks to Jimmy Babcock for a great race, as well as Jeremy Felles for the support (and the shameless plug for my photography during the sportsman stock A2 main ) and Charles Pearson for helping me get my brushless system working in the heat.
Pictures should be up on my website by around 8 or 9 tonight, maybe earlier. www.jbphotography.smugmug.com - look under "At the Races".

Tacoma- will more of your pictures be online anywhere? I'd love to see more!

EDIT: The pictures are now up on my website.

Jason - Kudos on the SUPERB pics of the race on your site! Hope you get to more big events like the Mod Nats for even more cool shots!

jelly - Nope. Didn't see one Yokomo all weekend. There were a few X-5s, an X-10 Predator (which blew up by the way), and about 2 or 3 Kyosho ZX-5s. The rest were Losi XXX-4G+, XX-4, & JConcepts BJ4-WEs!

AE was running the orginal GT. The race was awesome except for the fact that I completely blew out. Thanks to the whole AE team for setup help and thanks to Ryan Maifield for giving me the GT. Also Congrats to Charles "Hippy" Charron for makin the main in sportsman stock truck and getting 3rd.

Hhmmm... the only Official Yokomo Team in the U.S. is named Billy Easton.... unfortunately... he was a no show at the Shootout. Seems his concentration at the moment is more on On-Road racing. Something tells me he may make it to Indianapolis with the MR4-BX for the ROAR Mod Nats... afterall... it isn't too far from Wisconsin which is where he now lives.

Thanks Chris! Don't worry, the big races get easier everytime you go to one. Use the JBRL well, as it is a great stepping stone.

See you in Camarillo!

Saw them last night while we raced Truggy....Yea the track isn't as pretty anymore...LOL

I did run a B4 on it and it was really nice...
Oh did I mention how freaking dirty some RC Racers....
There was so much trash and one run tires laying all over the place....
I was a bit upset about that....
Most Racers pick up after them selves..but I guess some peeps see that they are standing on dirt and think....WOW a great big landfill....Sheesh...I know that it isn;t just this track...But man some people need to retrain their children to pick up after themselves...

Ok Rant over...
I have to say that Ibon designed a fantasic layout...
Fun, Fast and pretty technical.

Thanks! I wish I could make it out to a race like the mod nats, but for the time being, I'll have to stick with local events.
