I purchased a Novak GTB 7.5R Brushless System. I used to have the original Novak 5800SS, so I know what brushless is capable of and look forward to going back to it. What settings on the esc should I use for my X-6 2wd buggy?

I really like the factory setting. #1.
I'm running the XXX-T, its working flawlessly.

I ru neither 1 or 2 settings on my 7.5.

I also normally use profile 1.

When the track has lesser traction, I use profile 3.

Yeah #3 has a little less punch at the bottom which would most likely be better.?
And a little weight in the front wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks guys. My track is usually dusty and blown out from the 1/8 scales, so I'll start with profile 3. I currently run 1/4 oz weight on the nose. Do I need more?

I run the factory default settings on the esc.

I run a ton of expo on the radio to tame the bottom end (50%), and turn the brake way down (60%).

I'm speaking from a truck. I run lipos so I added 20 grams to the front,10 grams just to the sides of the chassis behind the servo 5 grams on each side. and 40 grams on top of the battery holder.
Thats the only way I could get the truck controllable with a 5.5.
5800 awesome truck totally dialed.
I normally run the 4300 and I can take off the 40 on the battery holder.

Hopefully some of the mumbo jumbo I just drained all of our brains with will help.
I'd say if the front lifts or the front pushes add weight.
But working my weight from the front to the back spreading it out worked best.

Our track is 1/8 rugged and some times dusty.

Oh and this is a great tip of the day here.
This method will prevent having to add weight.
