I'm beginning to wonder if these things really exist! I've been waiting so long for this to be released it seems like all a dream. If Tekin doesn't get on the ball, they are going to lose another customer to the competition. I'm tired of waiting.

Tekin - pleeease don't force me to buy an inferior system! Hurry up already!

Talking it wont hapen overnight, but it will hapen

i really dont think tekin would want to rush it onto the market like other brands and have a product that thermals and dies etc.
it is in their best interest to test it and flog the guts out of it to make sure they have a trouble free system, and i recon thats what they are doing.worth the wait as far as im concerned.

Well novak took over 2 years to come out with their brushless system, and the LRP one was about a year I think. So Tekin isn't doing to bad so far!

The Tekin will be out soon. Tower always posts prices higher then they will actuall be, this is pretty normal.

I know for a fact that the new system is being tested by Mike Dumas. He's been testing now for almost a week. He's very happy with it. The last testing I heard about was in a 1/12th scale. They are testing really hard getting read for the indoor champs...

tower has these things listed at $85 for a motor/ esc combo. Can this be any where near true?

What you see on Tower for $85 is for the motor only, not the motor/speedo. Tower just has them listed wrong when they say "Brushless Motor System".

I was just talking to a tekin sponsored racer on the phone, and he said if there are enough entries in this years stock nats demo class, they will be entering the redline!

There is a lot to the statement “Sometimes you have to shoot the engineer and sell the darn product”. We are there…. The unit works great and now we just have to build them. Unfortunately there is not a lot we can do when key components become unavailable and the replacements are 12 to 14 weeks out for volume deliveries. We are building enough units for our final testing and Team drivers currently. Large quantities for public distribution should be ready in Dec.

No one is more tweaked than me about the delays.. I am paying the bills. In the end the timing is going to work out really well for us from a business standpoint and our customers will be smiling from ear to ear for many years to come.

Sounds like a whole lot of BS to me. That post was nearly 1 year ago!! 12 weeks for parts...blah blah....that was 48 weeks ago you made that statement. I own 3 Mamba's and want a 13.5 BL to compete with...Novak is about it and I'm not thrilled about buying a Novak....but guess what??? They are ACTUALLY selling what they advertise.

I suggest you purchase a hot air balloon and breath deep into it instead of stringing people out for over a year.

You lost another one!!

Tekin had 3 racers using them in the Li-po Brushless Truck Class at the ROAR Electric Off-road Nats in Albuquerque, NM last month!
