We have a new mini offroad track ithe area and there are 5-6 xray NT18T's. They seem to be pretty quick but like a very smooth track. I think some of the guys have had problems with throttle servos going bad, but I don't know all of the details. I prefer the size of the 16th scale cars myself, but the little Xrays are cool.

Hello,

You can use a reg sized starter box. I personally forked out the $80 bux for a mini box for the cool factor + it only uses 1 battery pack.

If you are contiplating getting one, opt for the one without servos! The ones included are the crappy hitec hs81's.
Great little trucks!

hey bud,
the futaba S3003 it way to big, you need to use the Futaba S3102. the servos that come in the kit cant handle HRS (high responce sestems) and they will burn up really fast. I build 2 NT18 kits and a couple NT18t kits, we put the Futaba S3102s in the steering and throtle and we havent had problems with any yet.

if your intersted in a NT18t i have my personal one that i build. i dont have any time to run it and im low on money. its a roller, no electronics. the body is being costom painted right now, i have all the instuctions and the origional box. the motor and diffs still needs to be broken in.

ill sell it to you for $245 shipped
