Sportwerk Raven ST RTR
 

i currently run on road and i am looking at gettinng an off road just for bashing around. does anyone know how good the Sportwerks Raven is?? has anyone had any experience with it? any info will help. thanks in advance.

Looks to be a good truck, I've had good luck with my XXX-T. Now they have a version that comes with a brushless system. That'd be ideal for bashing, almost no maintainance...

i got a chance to check it out in the LHS before it closed. Looked like a pretty good truck. Only thing I wish it did have but may be better for a basher that it doesn't is the ball diff. But for what I saw, it looked pretty good. I would have no problem running it.

Could you tell if it's a XXX-T duplicate, or is it something completely new?

My buddy bought one. He is sorry he did. Some parts are Losi some are'nt. Part availability was bad. I would either go for a more mainstream brand.

Go Losi first(get the brushless RTR if available), Associated second, and if money is an issue, go Duratrax, but don't buy that Raven thing.
