The only differentials I know that don't use oil are the fantasy type.

Price: between $600 and 700.00, depending on who you listen to.

I like it, looks very low profile, I just wonder how it tips the scale?

No doubt......

Come on TM! You spent soo much time and resources up to now. You should at least give us an update.

It looks great! But.............

Yeah, it kinda sucks... weekly updates on time every week for months. Then after the last update (part 12) we have not heard one official word from TM.

I dont know if i should just buy the 8ight or continue to wait for the M1

Not trying to start a debate at all but I'd get the 8ight .. I think this buggy is just to different only to gain lots of attention... Losi has proven itself in the off-road world and alot of people may disagree but losi parts I'm sure will be alot easier to get......AGAIN, not trying to start a debate I'm sure this biggy will be descent.

Most likely, TM are probably in the busy pre-production/production phase, but I agree, some updates would definitely be reassuring to those who are contemplating getting the M1.

As far as i know (i contacted the mexican distributor), TM will send M1's starting by the end of this month based on volume bought by every distributor (you know, the ones that bought more, receive first) with small distributors by January '07

Dennis, any news/uodate on this ?

thanks,

My first mind tells me to go with the 8ight for multiple reasons...

Cost (now around $499)
Parts
Proven
Support

But ive been wanting the M1 since parts 1 and 2. I atleast want to try it out. Bad thing is it may have BAD resale if it sucks.

This is what i found out from a team magic US Distributor

8/23/2006 News

The Factory has informed us that M1 Production has been delayed until early November due to some engineering alterations required for assembly. We apologize for the delay but the Factory and we at Phenix feel the buggy must be the best it can be before the final stamp of approval is given

Preorders are being taken now. If you are a Phenix Distribution dealer feel free to place a confirmed order. The buggy is listed under Team Magic Car Kits.

If this buggy isn't starting to get your attention yet you must be dead.

I'd be interested to see how this tank's design pans out, since it's believed that the "narrow on the bottom, wide on the top" tank in the Savage is a contributor to its half-tank lean problem.

The G4 has a similar tank design and doesnt suffer from this issue. Different tank sizes though.
