Wow ... it will be on the high line of prices ... almost the same as the new Losi 8ight and very high compared to proven racers as the Jammin FTE ...

Hope to worth the extra money ... im waiting here in mexico where i work now to see and test the first one with the Mexican TM distributor ...

thanks for the info Dennis,

i thought we were looking at a September release... now they are saying October?

Might have to try the Losi 8ight until the M1 comes out...

New chapter in the ongoing M1 saga:

http://www.teammagic.com.tw/en/newsf...21150632-54349

I already had my doubts about the side-mounted shock anchor points, thinking they would be metal, but it now seems they'll be plastic.

In all fairness, that little tool to screw-in the O-ring cover looks neat. Sadly, once again, they took an area of the buggy where they could have made some credible improvements but instead, make dubious changes. A perfect example is the shock piston: larger body and shaft, but a plastic cap that will be yet more suceptible to side-loading (and possibly air infiltration) as well as only 2 holes in the piston.

This is another area where they seem to lose ground to Losi, who have also created larger shock bodies for better damping, but went the extra step of creating pistons with 6 to 8 equidistant holes on them to improve the movement and fluid flow even further.

Thats a big WOW, and sadly a more than a ... for that price people will buy Losi's if they want to test a new-in-the-market Buggy, specially when the marketing strategy of Team Magic does not include sign big names to drive their cars ... so if people se a US$ 700 driven-by-the-guy-next-door and see a US$ 570 winning-big-races buggy, the choice will be easy ...

Thats just my 0.000000002 cents ...

For part 1 through 9 go to http://www.rcfanatix.co.za/TMM1.htm
Buggy looks awesome but I think they are pricing themselves a bit out of the market.

I bet TM already finish design teh buggy, but does anyone have seen a real one running ?

700 is way too much for a new buggy. you can get 2 RTR in that price

The buggy has a great story and excellent design features, but we all know what really sells kits....results on the track!!!

So far the TM buggy looks like a combat ready racer but until it is released, or at least tested in race conditions, it's competition worthiness remains a mystery.

The pre-release saga continues.

(Losi the big bad front driveshaft eater!!!) The m1 looks awsome and on this link should not be compared to another unproven new release buggy.
