i still use all the original parts that magic have released and dont have breakage issues..... i have broken one tank and that was because i screwed up BIG time of a big jump and let the car 'chassis slap' on landing !!! :eek:

as you previously stated you are a 'newbie' ... so therefore it may well be you that is what's wrong with this car??? :rolleyes:

hell we all know how great of a car the original TC3 was when released..... but in the hands of a beginner or newbie it was turned into a canoe in the blink of an eye!!

so instead of bagging what is a great car and a fast one at that... maybe work on your driving..... if you are breaking so much you are obviously driving beyond your own ability ...... hardly the cars fault if your nosing it into the ground at 30mph :flaming:

I am running the new 4x1.5 pistons and i am very pleased with the dampening.

The new conical gears are a MUST have... they make the cars transmission one of the smoothest on the market.

Team magics wider/bigger option is a MUST have or an aftermarket high down force wing for more rear traction.

The front arms were the ones in the spares package. New thicker option ones are coming.

new about the diffs? what do you mean?

I couldnt get the Losi bladders to fit so i am using xray bladders. They get the job done but new team magic bladders are on the way as well.

Get the option conical diff gears and you will not have any more diff problems. Makes the car have one of the smoothest drivetrains on the market.

pistons im running are the same as the stock, just more holes so the material hasn't changed.

the option wing is available, but im actually running the Himoto wing now. I would recommend this wing over any other!

Vones... you have still broken a fuel tank after the update? I used to break them but A LOT... about 6 or so. After the update I havent had one problem. As far as arms breaking, thats normal for any buggy but if you are still breaking fuel tanks we need to know that. Are you using the o-rings on all the mounts as well? Also, for added protection, i put a little servo tape underneath the tank on the fuel inlet side so it would have a little cushion incase it did hit the chassis.

The car is getting tougher and I used to be worried about breaking all the time, but it hasn't let me down in a long time. Pick up the new diff gears and all your problems should be solved. "newbies" break a-arms all the time so i dont know what to say about that unless i saw your crash, but diffs are unacceptable unless you are not shimming them correctly but I do know the stock ones are a little harder to keeped shimmed correctly. seems like you have to re-shim or check the shimming every gallon or so.

Thanks champ, tip for the front gearbox cover. Always run the front shock cover even if the parts that cover the shock tops are brocken, it aids in bolting the front end together, without it the top gearbox flexes backwards too much.

You're running the rear shocks on the front... does this mean you are running the rear spring too?

Also, 2 hole pistons?

I was actually still running the front springs, either way it makes no real difference. Yes i was running kit pistons, 2 hole.
