from everything i have seen here in th usa. it is going for 675.00 dollars us. way more than any other car right now. even the kyosho wc car is less by alot.

on top of that from the vid and from the tracks here in the US i don't think it is going to work well. but set-up is always key. so maybe at the hands of a true 100% factory pro it would work but for the rest of us this car is NOT for the US racers. kinda of like the new piktor buggy looks great on the beanch and may not race very well here. but at least the magic is more of a conventional design than the piktor so it may still work here. but the magic has the colors of my off road desert race bikes.

Mugen MBX5R 599.99
Kyosho Inferno MP777 WC 659.99

Team magic M1-B - 639.99

The prices seem to be about the same to me. (all the above came from amain hobbies) I have seen the M1 as low as 599 online.

The car is just as good or better than any other car out. At my local track i turn just as fast laps or faster than Kyoshos, Losi, XRAYS, etc... I know for a fact the car carries more corner speed and is better through the bumps than any car i have had and i have had pretty much every car. The car also steers better than most. I have passed many buggies in the turns by turning underneath them.

Until you drive one its hard to really say, those videos were peoples first days with the car. Check out the neo buggy video where the car made the A on its first race out at a HUGE event.

good point...

but to beat a dead horse...

its not so much the chassis as it is the setup and the driver...

the magic biggy looks great and is in my maybe list when and if i get back into buggy this year...

an old friend always told me...its not what works for me...its what works for you...

on closing maybe the magic buggy is not for everyone...

I think it just looks that way... its not as light as my 8ight was but its no heavier than any other 1/8. Probably lighter than most to be honest due to the fact that less material is used in certain areas...

shock towers are almost half the size of normal shocktowers, everything alum. is milled out in low stress areas... even the spur gear and outdrives!

No, the kit doesn't come with a motor or radio gear. It isn't a ready to run.

A good motor would be the OS VG, Werks B3, STS... plenty more but all those are under $200 and very good.
