please help diff problems
 

i am having all kinds of problems rebuilding my diff in my xxxnt. i ordered the gear,balls and the diff screw that comes with a few more things the problem is when i go to screw it all back together the screw is to short i have even went back to my manual and tried following ever step so i was wondering if there are different diffs for the xxxnt i got this one of ebay. its the limited edition one i know its older becuase it comes with the picco rc-speed engine could my tranny have the a drake diff or is there even a difference between the two? thanks

I would suggest that you go to the Team Losi website and check out the exploded views for your kit and some of the other trucks and buggies. I'm no Losi expert, but every time I've had a question about a Losi part, I've been able to figure it out from the parts listings.

The diff adjusting screw is the same on the RTR, Sport, NT and AD. The only difference is in the thrust spring, the RTR and Sport uses a coil spring and the NT and AD use a series of belleville washers. With that exception all the diffs are the same assembly.

Perhaps you have the wrong screw or you placed the diff nut in incorrectly so the screw can't reach it.

the bellville washers u are saying are behind the nut on the other out drive and i dont need to use the spring that originally goes on the diff screw?
