First off you really need to allow a little more time than 20 minutes for your question to be answered.....

Now on to your question..... I'm pretty sure that their are only about $20 worth of parts off of the on-road car that can be reused.... It would be way more cost effective to just buy a xxx-4 kit.... Sure it's not what you wanna hear, but it's the truth.....

I agree. Sell the xxxs, buy a xx4 or xxx4 on ebay, they are cheap.

although the cars are similar, they are still vastly different. The chassis alone is longer on the xxx-4. The only thing you could save fron the TC would be the battery strap, diffs (maybe), and body clips, maybe wheel hexes too, but don't quote me on that. There is your $20 in parts from the xxx-s you can reuse.

You look at the cars, and it may look easy, but after you replace all the arms and shock towers, you'll see that you still need the big dollar items like shocks, CVD's, Tie rods, Chassis!

Best bet is to buy one used, I think you can get one really cheap. maybe 150 right now.
