thanks for the responses guys. i will just wait to see if anybody has oil at the track, if not i will have my Marvel's Mystery Oil (that's what i use as after run oil, it's exactly the same. even smells the same). however, some guys say that spraying the pre filter with WD-40 helps too, instead of leaving it dry.

yep. tim is still there. bud dosn't work there anymore, but still comes out every race nite. things have changed a bit since then, but yeah, the track is still there and going as strong as it ever has. we race every second and forth sat nite just like always all year long. that schedule hasn't ever changed.

we have a big annual race we run once a year in march......we call it the "Battle at the Beach". it runs the whole weekend. we've been getting over a hundred entrants for it 4 years in a row.

here's a pic. that's me at the right hand end of the driver's stand and my bj4 world's edition on the track.

I actually use the Fram oil and cleaner. It works quite well. It's the same as the K&N stuff basically, as well as the PJ1 oil and cleaner and the Maxima's oil and cleaner. Basically ans oil and cleaner used on the cleanable automotive/motorcycle filters works just fine.

with teh marvel mystery oil, you can use wd40 to clean your filter out, but it will not stop any small particles as a stand alone filter oil
