Default Fastest Electric Off-road vehicle?

What's the fastest electric off-road vehicle in the $300-400 price range?

E-maxx with brushless set up or any electric touring with brushless motor. Nothing beats a brushless setup. The next stop will be Electric Dragster....it should go at least 60mph...straight

An electric racing buggy or truck would probably be fastest. Anything electric and off-road by Team Losi or Associated would be fast VERY fast if you put a brushless motor in it!

What about an HPI RS4 MT with a brushless set up. Lighter than an Emaxx but still durable and 4 wheel drive.

I would wait until the b4 comes out and put in a brushless motor.

Default Which Brushless Motor?

Which brushless motor is best for the E-maxx? I heard that hacker makes the C50 for $219 that is supposedly made for the E-maxx. Is that a good one? Is it easy to install? Any feedback would be appreciated.

When you say "complete" do you mean with ESC too?

Yes the novak come with esc (and its cheaper on ebay) but its really not the better motor for the emaxx because it handle just 1 pack of 6 or 7 cells. It's perfect for a losi or associated but in the emaxx you can put 12 cells so the hacker or lehner is really better for you but ist more expensive.

The XXX-4 with a 9X2 handwound motor and a very good ESC.

Even RCCA rated the XXX-4 the "Fastest 4X4 in the world".

Ive broken track records with this thing. The xxx-4 is ballistic fast, its probably boaring to run stock in.

When you get your xxx-4, some recommended hopups are for MOD.

Trinity Motor mount clamp (MUST HAVE, PLASTIC BREAK EZ TO MOD)
Lundsford Titanium Turnbuckles
XXX-4 Graphite chassis
Threaded shocks.

This car is the fastest offroad I have ever driven in my life, its a blast to drive.

How about a XXX-4 with a 7x2 motor, Mtroniks M3 ESC [lightest and smallest in the world], and all of the lightening you could possibly do on the car? With a motor with that few turns, you would need to have a VERY large driving area, like a department store parking lot.

And if you wanted to race, all that you would have to do is change out the motor.
