in the pics on RCZ it looks like there is a little brace on the inside rear of the arms I don't remember seeing, but mabye it is there on the regular T4 arms...

I'm also amazed by the fact that the front and rear shock body colours actually match!

From the pics it looks like it will use the long shaft on the crank unlike the previous version. It looks sooo very dialed. I have had a new motor waiting for this day to come. I knew we were do for some more Associated domination. I have been running my B4 and T4 since I retired my two tub chassis gt's. I didn't want to buy a new gt for fear that they would release this one right after I would've gotten it. It's all good though it only made me a better driver.

I like the truck even though I think it looks like a losi too. I can honestly say I'm a little annoyed that the decided to copy the one thing I hate about the AD2, access to the steering servo.
And going back to the 1/10 scale talk. I have thought about it for a couple days and I think I have changed my mind. I would love to try a 1/10 4wd truck. But I agree with Aarron. It would probably be more expensive than any other 1/10 scale and maybe more breakage than any other class too. Sure sounds fun though!

IMO 1/10 nitro truck is the HARDEST class to drive fast. The cars are sooo over-powered for dirt racing. If you can drive a truck patient and be fast, you'll be fast in any class.

Looking at the pictures, it looks like the servo mounts to the top composite piece instead of the lower chassis plate. It almost looks like the entire top plate comes off sort of like a radio tray, with rx, servos, switch and even the fuel tank all attached to it. I can't see how many screws hold it on, but it looks VERY convenient!

The radio tray is the same design type as the Nitro TC3......it can be removed with just a few screws...very easy!

Probably next year. I'll most likely get one to mess with over the winter. Thumper gas trucks are stupid-fun, one that handles properly will be pure R/C crack!

Brent,

Any other pictures of the GT2. I have seen the ones from RCX and they are just OK.

Thanks

I talked to a couple A-Team guys at RCX and got a nice long "Inside Scoop" http://www.TeamPlatinumRacing.com/Fi...siderInfo.html) when I get it done. I have tons of shots, and will post them as soon as the writeup is done about the new truck.

Here's one to hold you off while I write the entire article. I also have an interview with Adam Drake, and a writeup about VTX to finish too, so it might take a while.

The AE drivers seemed very confidant that the new GT2 would be able to compete with the AD2 on the racetrack, and were rather proud of the advancements made over the already sucessful GT.

A great thing has just gotten a whole lot better, once again!
