E-Rustler

I know a E-Rustler goes 24+, but how fast can they go? How does this affect runtime? What hop-ups are needed? How much does it cost in the end?

here is some to ask you 1-how much you looking to pay
2- is you going to race it
3-what you will be doing with it

Just to let you know, I Rustler will not go 24 stock. If you want speed, go brushless with good matched battery packs. None of that stick pack crap.

I do not want to pay much. I want to race if they offer it in my aera.

if you read the fine print, they get the 24 mph with a 7 cell.

it will be FINE for racing, but will be lapped by others with better cars. the fact is, you will probably dump a lot of money to keep up. but, as a new person, drive stock for now. when you get better, buy a modified motor, and a 3000 mah batterypack, or cells to match. i used the cheep batterypacks, and they are fine, but when you use matched cells, you WILL notice a diference.

there is a lot, to get raceready, but dont miss the concept, have fun!
good luck!
