Default Kyosho SP2 header question

I have a question for all the SP2 owners out there, What header/pipe are you guys using? I just picked up a Jammin JP-1 pipe to go along with RG motor and the header doesn't fit, it hits the body, I know the the RG has an exhaust adapter, but I tried the same pipe/header with a dead collari and the header still hits the body!

I hope the problem doesn't happen with my new Ninja engine/pipe, anybody have a Ninja engine yet?

I just trimmed away the part of the body that touches the manifold, about half of the blister.

Thanks for the responses. I ended up trimming the body, I guess it is better to have a little more airflow anyway

I just did that on my K3 and is alot better. I never did like how the body would burn around the manifold. Looks much better also.
