Anyone know where to get some of those Losi Tire Rubber Bands
I know I can order them from the hobby shop but you know Losi is getting some rubber band and jacking up the price. I am wondering if anyone figured out what band they are selling and where to get it. I tried to get some from OfficeMax and the ones that they carry do not work. I am not looking for just a standard rubber band. I am looking for the big thick ones like Losi included in their tire gluing kit.
If anyone knows what these are and where to get them cheep I would appreciate it.
Thanks for the time.

bands for cheaper than a buck? goto a stationary store and buy a box of wide rubber bands you cheapskate. Staples #84 1/2 inch wide x3 1/2 inch laying flat. Go here for custom stuff: http://www.rubberband.biz/
how do some people even get around on the internet?

We've had the below for over 2 years. Still in new shape and unbelievably we haven't lost them yet!
Expensive? Yea, i guess.
Worth it? Yes, to me they are well worth it. They hold the tire tighter to the wheel than any rubber bands we've used.
We "used" to use rubber bands, for whatever reason they disappear like body clips.
Panther makes them.

Only $800....? I am glad that is all I suposidly have invested LOL.
OK FYI for every one looking for a killer motor I am now selling my winning 06 Winter Midwest Champs motor for 40 J-Concepts tire rubber bands or $40. Which ever comes first. LOL but seriously for sale or trade.
You know what they say "watch you rubberbands and the kits will come". LOL Just trying to save some change. You know how it is. When you glue 30 sets of tires up at a national event that is alot of bands and buck.
