Default Kyosho MP6 Maintenance tips

Hey guys,

Just recently got a Kyosho MP6 buggy with a RB S7 motor.

Is there any maintenance things I need to do to keep it running good? I know about the engine after-run-oil, but that's about it.

I'd appreciate any input! I can't find any info anywhere on maintenance.

Thanks!
John

Just to keep it dry and clean. If you don't the bearings and other assorted steel components will rust.

If you are lazy then take the engine and electronics out, and use a pressure washer. Then put it straight in the airing cupboard to dry.
Alternatively WD40 is great for getting mud/dirt off. Spray it on and use a cloth to remove all the dirt etc.

Oh, and make sure the pinion and crown gear for the front and rear diffs are meshed as tightly as possible or they can have a tendancy to strip...

watch the fuel tank when you apply full throttle. the brake rods must NOT hit the fuel tank. Adjust with radio ATV if needed,
shave front arms if you're using front block B so the suspension will still have up travel.

well, that's bout it from me...im so beat after a full day of racing the buggy.
pm me if you still need some asssistant.
