Default Questions

Hi,

How much are you guys paying for a brand new Hyper 7?

We have that here in Singapore but seem to be less popular than a 7.5 even though it is much cheaper?

Anyway, ending this with a last question, how durable is it compare to other buggy.

ran a few tanks yesterday in a vacant lot...very lose dirt...with 2 different tires ('kit' and Pro-Line Crime Fighters)....Buggy handled OK for it's maiden voyage...out the box set-up pushed off power (was running front swaybar only for safety and suredness) and on power a little throttle would let the rear follow the front very nicely..

Passed the controls to my buddy who is more experienced...and he was putting down some impressive laps, but not quite what he could do with his own buggy (Hyper7 sport, modified almost to PRO version)...he assured me that I have a good starting setup..

one thing I noticed is that this buggy was surprisingly easy to control in air..(mind you i am new to offroad, but seasoned on-road racer).

durability:...being my first time out this thing was tumbled, cartwheeled, cased the landings, barrell-rolled and more...only broke one front camber rod...and stripped one set of front steering knuckles..the second set i used LOTS of loc-tite and no problems yet...My buddy showed me these cool CNC'd knuckles on his buggy...probably the only "hop-up" i will need...so he says....i think so too....

the car is great...i just need some off-road driving skills...

first race tomorrw....we'll see the outcome...wish me luck...i'm gonna need it!
