Default Can anyone identify this truck?

I got this on trade and can't figure out what it is. Someone told me an OLD Traxxas Rustler, someone else told me an RC10, and someone else told me a MRC? Do you know what this is?

Definately an old RC10T tub chassis. Can't really tell much more. Maybe there's some "custom" parts on it...LOL

It looks like a Tamiya dyna storm truck.

The front arms look 2 peice, and the rear shock tower looks like the black fibre glass that tamiya use.

Cheers.

It's too wide and short to be an rc10 chassis.

The design looks like and older Tamiya.

I'm thinking it might also be an MRC, back in the day MRC and Tamiya were like freinds. The tranny set up looks like pure Tamiya or MRC.

Its definately no RC10T, because they used more modern looking arms and shock geometry.

It's not a traxxas, because the Rustler never had a Alumi-Tub chassis, and when they would have (early 90's) their plastic was always an off white, not black.

The front tires scream Tamiya, like the stadium truck series.

You know the wild thing is is that a couple people told me MRC. It has the pin tires and rims from the Rustler and the front suspension arms are one piece designs. The shock towers are graphite and yes the chassis tub is aluminum. Whatever it is I traded two Kyosho Big Brute rollers and a Bolink Digger roller for it both with bodies. He sent me a RTR Rustler, this, a JR controller and reciever, a Power Pulse ESC, and three bodies. He was a great guy so I can't complain at all. This thing came RTR too. Only problem is is that during shipment, the front steering knuckle cracked and broke. I replaced both of the front ones with Stampede caster blocks and bearing carriers. Now all I need to do is adjust the steering arms to get the right camber. I personally like whatever it is because it seems to be very durable. But I am mainly building it for my god son for his birthday (he's 10). Oh well, we'll see how it goes because I might give him one of my Rustlers seeing as how it's alot easier to find parts for.

The only Associated chassis that even resembled that shape was the T2 chassis, but looking at the transmission and front suspension area, it is not a T2. The original RC10 chassis and subsequent models that used the same basic chassis in a black version (World's Car, Dual Sport, RC10T, etc.), had different lines than the one at the beginning of the post. See attached photo for the shape of an original RC10 chassis.

The RC10-T chassis looked like that.

Alright, what about the Tamiya Stadium Blitzer and Blitzer Beelte.
